The Patient Safety Movement Foundation (PSMF) is hosting the 2nd Annual Make the Save Soccer Tournament on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at Irvine Great Park in Irvine, California, from 8 am – 5 pm.
Medical errors are the 3rd leading cause of death in the U.S. and 14th worldwide. This means over 200,000 Americans die in the hospital because of a medical error each year; this equates to over 4.8 million globally. One preventable patient death in a hospital is one too many.
Participants can take action by participating in PSMF’s 2nd Annual Make the Save Charity Soccer Tournament and helping the organization build awareness around deaths in hospitals that can be prevented.
