A community of practice is a group of people who share a passion for something that they know how to do and interact regularly to learn how to do it better. This describes the SimGHOSTS event attendees perfectly. SimGHOSTS events are tailored to the needs of those working with healthcare simulation technologies in either planning, designing or running healthcare simulation programs or facilities.
If you are involved in making purchasing decisions or planning simulation programs, it is essential that you experience the valuable opportunity SimGHOSTS provides to meet with leading industry representatives to explore the features of a range of simulation technologies. This helps to ensure that you are making informed decisions and meeting the unique needs of your program. All simulation technology professionals can benefit from relationships with industry professionals and access to specialist advice and expertise.
SimGHOSTS provides plentiful networking opportunities, meeting spaces for special interest groups, and an app for attendees to communicate before, during and after the event. Attendees can meet and collaborate with like-minded community members and learn from their peers. It is through these channels that attendees can supplement the SimGHOSTS program with their own community-driven learning opportunities.
This is what some of the attendees had to say about our 2018 event held in Memphis TN:
“What a great opportunity to network with peers who thrive on the same thing!”
“Outstanding conference. Learned a lot and met a lot of innovative people.”
“This was such a terrific learning opportunity for me. I love this new career path I’m on, and meeting with others who are just as invested, and much more, has been a wonderful experience.”
